Is this possible ? iConnect Midi 4+ And iConnect Midi 2+ on a single iPad ?
Can the 2+ be connected to the 4+ in a way that all jacks/port would be visible to the iOS device ?

  • Yes, I think this is possible. I'm doing something similar with an iCA4+ and a mio4. Assuming they work more or less the same as your gear, here's how it may work:

You need to connect the Midi4+'s host port (USB A jack) to the USB 1 port of the Midi2+. (USB 2 port may work, too.)

Also, in the "MIDI Info" configuration of the Midi4+ you may need to increase the "Maximum ports on multiport USB devices" if you have a USB hub attached to the Midi2+.
  • Yes, this should work as murmichel describes - you can use the USB-MIDI Host Port on our bigger devices to connect any other iConnectivity interface to form a mini USB network.
  • Thanks
