The Tracker powers fine over USB from the XL, but isn't showing up as a MIDI device.

What cable do you use, i do believe that you Tracker is picky with the cable, a usb c to adapter seems to be required.

I'm having the same issue with my Mio10.  The Tracker USB MIDI works perfectly fine when connected to my PC, but isn't recognized by the Mio's USB host port.
