New owner MioXL - Input and Output Label question

Hi all, new owner to a Mio XL from Sweetwater over the past week. Replaced my MOTU unit which was not only overly complex but stopped working. Anyway, I got the Mio working right away, and it seems perfect for my 3 keyboard and 10 module setup. My question is on the Input/Output labeling. It seems to repeat the label for input and output. I thought it should let me say, Input 1=Keylab49, Output1 =. Focusrite Interface, Input 2= Cobolt8x, output 2 = MellotronRack etc etc. So I can route any input to any output. While the routing works, the label doesn't. Is this working as expected or am I not entering the names correctly?
