Mio recognised but not working.

Hi all.

I've just bought a Mio cable to run my synths from my computer.

I can see the mio cable as a midi destination in Logic Pro 10.6.

But it doesn't send notes when using "external instrument". Nothing. I've made a test with Reason and it's the same : mio is recognised but it's not working.

It drives me crazy. 4 hours lost. Not exactly plug & play

Some complementary informations :

MacBook pro 16'

Big Sur

Mio plugged on a USB-C hub

I can run my synths from my digitakt.

Please help me.

i think there are not that much possibilities:

1) (most likely) your DAW/software or midi track is not configured correctly

2) your OS has a problem with the USB hardware

3) the USB hardware is faulty

In case it does not work, do you have another pc/laptop/tablet with USB to test the hardware with this webpage?

i would try to do some research in the Logic support forums or are you 100% sure that it is not a Logic related problem?

switching the cable ends is often the reason mio cables aren't working. If it shows on your computer the USB connection is good so the place to look is the DIN MIDI side.
Please verify you have the following connections made.
Cable end labelled MIDI IN is connected to MIDI OUT port on your external hardware.
Cable end labelled MIDI OUT is connected to MIDI IN port on your external hardware.
